XZanthia – Acting & Film
Beyond my work as a visual artist, musician, and performer, I’ve also spent years exploring the wonderfully strange world of independent filmmaking.
My acting experience spans horror, psychological thrillers, dark comedies, experimental films, and surreal fantasy. Beginning in the late 1990s, I became involved in underground and independent film productions, often gravitating toward unconventional characters, bizarre storylines, and projects that pushed creative boundaries.
Throughout my film career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and on productions featuring legendary horror icons, including Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), Tom Towles (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer), Lloyd Kaufman (The Toxic Avenger), and Tom Savini, the legendary special effects artist, actor, and makeup effects pioneer behind Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, and Creepshow.
I’ve also appeared in films directed by Adam Wingard, who went on to direct major Hollywood productions including Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and You’re Next.
My love for acting comes from the same place as my music and artwork: a fascination with the unusual, the unsettling, the theatrical, and the beautifully bizarre.
Whether I’m creating a character, performing onstage, or stepping in front of a camera, I’ve never been particularly interested in being ordinary.
